MNKR Practice Calendar

Our online calendar is the most recent and up to date version of our practice schedule. On it you'll find MNKR practice dates and times, Kyudo USA dates and other dates of note, such as the International Horse Archery Festival. If you have dates that should appear on our calendar, please let us know.

The Minnesota Kyudo Renmei offers beginner's classes and open practices through the Northfield Community Education and Recreation Center (see their website!). Most classes will be held at the new Northfield Middle School, located at 2022 Division Street.  This school is new and is not yet found on most map sites.  We do NOT practice at the Middle school located on Union street.

The Kyudo USA seminars are hosted every year by one of the seven state federations on behalf of the American Kyudo Renmei (AKR) and the All Nippon Kyudo Federation (ANKF). It is a fabulous opportunity to study under the leadership of three high-ranking sensei from Japan, as well as to gather together with other members of the AKR.

There are many requirements that must be met prior to application for admission to the seminar. All applications must be approved by a state federation president and/or dojo instructor. Check with your kyudo instructor for detailed information on this year's application procedures.
