KARE 11 Showcases MNKR

We were contacted by Gia Vang, formally of the KARE 11 Sunrise show, to do a story on the practice of kyudo.

Her interview coincided with our collaborative course with Professor Asuka Sango, Professor of Asian Studies and Religion at Carleton College. In this course, titled "Samurai - The Ethics of Death and Loyalty", students study the history and culture of the samurai while simultaneously learning kyudo with us at the MNKR.

Along with this course, we also welcomed Ogasawara Kiyomoto sensei, the 32nd generation head of the Ogasawara-ryū school of Etiquette, Archery and Horsmanship.
